It's the sound FX that make these so awesome.
Now, a quick return to the lo-fi, funny, flash animation genre, Red Medusa made these 40 spots for Hrusteam snacks, a brand that’s apparently owned by Pepsi.
Here’s my favourite two, but do check the rest of them out, and pick your own favourites! Sure to make a dull day pass quicker…!
It’s a shame I don’t read Russian, I would love to explore the Red Medusa site and actually understand what I’m reading…
Thanks Igor for the help, and Ken McLean for the tip!

Oh my. yes.
Rolling Stone has confirmed a rumor we’ve heard not too long ago about seeing much more Jimi Hendrix in Rock Band. Coming next week (seriously), Jimi’s full album “Axis: Bold as Love” will be hitting Rock Band as DLC, along with a previously unreleased track “Valleys of Neptune,” which will be the title track from a NEW Jimi Hendrix album. (Full track listing below.)
Harmonix has an exclusive agreement with the Hendrix estate to release his other studio albums as DLC in the future, in addition to an inclusion of a Jimi Hendrix in-game avatar, replica instruments, and according to Rolling Stone, potentially a Jimi Hendrix: Rock Band standalone title.
The specific tracks being released include:
- “Up From the Skies”
- “Spanish Castle Magic”*
- “Wait Until Tomorrow”*
- “Ain’t No Telling”*
- “Little Wing”*
- “If 6 Was 9″*
- “You Got Me Floatin’”*
- “Castles Made of Sand”*
- “She’s So Fine”*
- “One Rainy Wish”*
- “Little Miss Lover”*
- “Bold As Love”*
- “Valleys of Neptune”
* Denotes Family Friendly track compatible with LEGO Rock Band.

This is where the content would go…
isn’t this interesting.
I’m going to have to figure out something to do about all the duplicate Raptr posts that seem to happen on the weekend.
It’s getting a little silly when I play MW2 4 times on a saturday and get 4 posts. I should figure out a way to make a counter or something so that it only makes ONE post, and then adds to it, or comments on it or something.
Hrm… I wonder if that’s even the right direction.
Well, now that I’ve switched the site over to full-on flash, I need to make sure the google can still craw the html version of the site. I’m fairly certain it will, but this post will be the test. I’m going to type a unique phrase that will only exist on this site. Then, hopefully, when the google bot gets here, it logs it and I’ll be able to search for it and find the site. I think the phrase will be:
Gonka Floompa Tibi Moof.
Then in the next few days, we should see a result for this google search.
Also, I’ve added the toggle flash page and cookie checker at http://www.wackedusa.com/toggleFlash.html. This adds or removes a cookie to toggle the flash on or off (if the cookie doesn’t exist, flash is ON.)
